捕蟲葉聚生成蓮座狀，捕蟲葉的前端呈現如飯瓢的寬扁狀，邊緣有密密麻麻的腺毛，並在光線充足的情況下會漸漸變紅，而腺毛上的黏液也會非常充足，整顆看起來就像充滿水珠的小蓮花一般。
The trapping leaves form a rosette shape, with their front ends being broad and spoon-like. The edges are densely covered with glandular hairs, which gradually turn red under sufficient sunlight. The glandular hairs produce an abundant amount of sticky mucus, making the entire plant look like a tiny lotus adorned with dewdrops.

顏色呈現較為鮮綠色，具有明顯的莖以及葉為半月形，上面生滿能分泌黏液的腺毛，而腺毛頂端膨大有如一顆顆的小珍珠。另外種子為卵形，萼片具有軟毛。
It has a vibrant green color with a distinct stem and semicircular leaves covered in glandular hairs that secrete sticky mucus. The tips of the glandular hairs swell, resembling tiny pearls. Additionally, the seeds are oval-shaped, and the sepals are covered with soft hairs.
黃花狸藻 Utricularia aurea

為葉二回羽裂，羽片上可見綠色小點，即為捕蟲囊；裂片絲狀，立體開展。並且是臺灣水生狸藻裡體型最大的，可以長到60公分以上，但到了冬眠的時候，會萎縮到一不注意就忘了它的存在。
The leaves are bipinnately divided, with green dots visible on the pinnae, which are the bladder traps. The lobes are thread-like and spread out in a three-dimensional manner. It is the largest aquatic Utricularia species in Taiwan, capable of growing over 60 cm in length. However, during dormancy, it shrinks to the point that it can easily go unnoticed.

細絲狀的莖呈匍匐狀，有稀疏的分枝，隱藏於土壤中。葉常基生、呈蓮座狀或散生於匍匐莖上，葉整體較細長，因常伏貼於士壤的表面，有時隱藏於土壤中，僅露出部分的葉面，植株在未開花前，非常不易發現。
The thread-like stems are creeping, with sparse branches hidden within the soil. The leaves are mostly basal, forming a rosette or scattered along the creeping stems. They are generally slender and often lie close to the soil surface, sometimes partially buried with only part of the leaf exposed. Before flowering, the plant is very difficult to detect.

莖是匍匐型態大約2~3cm，葉子為單葉，形狀為圓形、橢圓或匙形，因此被稱為圓葉。葉子是全株除了花以外唯一高於土表面的構造，一般肉眼即可辨識。幼葉與成熟葉片為綠色，老葉則漸漸變透明。
The stem is creeping and measures about 2–3 cm. The leaves are simple and come in round, oval, or spoon-shaped forms, which is why it is called "round-leaved." The leaves are the only structures above the soil surface aside from the flowers, making them easily identifiable to the naked eye. Young and mature leaves are green, while older leaves gradually become translucent.

捕蟲葉由中央分開，形似貝殼一樣為兩瓣的構造，長約2-3公分。葉緣部份含有蜜腺和齒狀的刺毛，蜜腺會分泌出蜜汁來引誘昆蟲靠近。刺毛基部則會分泌出黏液，用於防止昆蟲掙脫以及葉瓣的黏合。
The trapping leaves are split in the center, forming a two-lobed structure resembling a seashell, measuring about 2-3 cm in length. The leaf edges contain nectar glands and tooth-like spines. The nectar glands secrete sweet liquid to attract insects, while the base of the spines secretes a sticky substance to prevent the prey from escaping and to aid in the adhesion of the leaf lobes.

全株呈鮮紅至暗紅色，葉緣齒裂非常明顯，其血盆大口的搶眼外型宛如食人魚張口，深為全紅捕蠅草的園藝雜交品系。而若光線不足，可能使紅色褪色或消失。
The entire plant exhibits a bright red to dark red color, with distinctly serrated leaf edges. Its striking appearance, resembling a gaping mouth like that of a piranha, makes it a notable horticultural hybrid of the all-red Venus flytrap. However, insufficient light may cause the red coloration to fade or disappear.

葉片巨大而邊緣呈現波浪狀，為黃色至綠色。葉尖為典型的盾形。羽狀脈斜發至葉緣，在葉片的外部呈不規則的網狀。龍蔓約與葉片等長，並形成一個彎曲，其為黃色至紅色，靠近捕蟲籠處顏色較深。
The leaves are large with wavy edges, ranging from yellow to green. The leaf tip has a characteristic shield shape. Pinnate veins extend obliquely to the leaf margins, forming an irregular net-like pattern on the outer part of the leaf. The tendril is approximately the same length as the leaf and forms a curve, displaying colors from yellow to red, with a darker hue near the pitcher trap.

最顯眼特色於如蛇昂首的瓶身及瓶口的魚尾狀附屬物，與其特殊的捕食機制相關。葉片球狀部及管狀部上端表面具大量不規則的半透明白色斑紋。葉球狀部分內表面無毛，光滑具蠟質。
The most striking feature is the bottle-shaped structure resembling a snake raising its head, along with the fishtail-like appendage at the pitcher’s opening, which is related to its unique trapping mechanism. The upper surface of the globular and tubular parts of the leaf is covered with numerous irregular, translucent white markings. The inner surface of the globular section is smooth, hairless, and coated with a waxy texture.

並沒有根，而它捕蟲的Y字迷宫捕蟲葉來自植物的匍匐莖長出後，便會插入潮濕的介質中，這種長形管狀的捕蟲器深入介質中，雖是由葉片進化而成，但因缺乏葉綠素所以呈現白色而且外型是螺旋狀。
It has no roots; instead, its Y-shaped labyrinthine trapping leaves emerge from the plant’s creeping stems and insert into a moist substrate. These elongated tubular traps extend deep into the substrate. Although they evolved from leaves, they lack chlorophyll, giving them a white appearance, and their structure is spiral-shaped.
